School!

SCHOOL!!!
So i enrolled in TCC as an incoming freshmen so that i wouldn't have to worry about trying to transfer credits and all. ( b/c i have a very large balance at ACU).
So when i filled out my application @ TCC there were two questions pertaining to my status after enrollment is complete.
1.) On what basis are you seeking admissions to TCC? and of course i mark 'incoming freshmen and not transfer student.
2.)What colleges have you attended? and of course I fill in Abilene Chritian Univ.
So here is where the problem pops up. So i finished pcking my classes and paid half of my tution which was required at registration. So i'm thinking everything is all good. So 2days before classes are scheduled to start(which is a Friday & classes start on the following Monday)i get a small slip in the mail that reads really large across the front Notification of dropped classes due to absence of transcript. So of course I have to wait until Monday when the offices open to go in see about it. So Monday morning I go to the admissions information window. I told the lady that i had been dropped from my classes b/c of my transcript but my transcript should have been on file b/c i requested it 1week ago @ the FWISD main office and they had told me that it Would arrive at TCC within the next 2days. Then the lady says we have that trancript but were waiting on your transcript from ACU. And i'm thinking why do she need that and of course i ask her. and she says all transfer students must have them in before registering. And i told her that I marked on my application that i was enrolling as a incoming freshmen. So she responds it's to late for us to switch you b/c classes have already begin. And i explained to her that I wouldnot be able to get my trancript from ACU b/c of my balance. So she said well I can't let you enroll in any classes besides elective classes but that is only for 1 semester and then after that i will need your transcript. So of course i said okay b/c i was going to be very disappointed if i couldn't start classes.
So i decided to take elective classes in which giving it was already the fisrt day of classes i could only find 2 courses with open seats so i took them(speech & physical education). so in the mean time i speak with some people at ACU(who were very helpful by the way), And we discuss all of my finances and there is no way that my transcript will be released by december. But the awesome thing was that ACU decided to cut my balance in half so i don't owe as near as much as i would have( by the way i owed 15,000 and no i did not add an extra zero). So i was very gracious for that.
So next semester i will be a begining freshmen and i will have the few hours that i am taking this semester. TCC's office have everything straight and have my status corrected for next semester.
So that was a Headache/Blessing all in one!!!
